It is a peaceful and sacred place for Muslims. The mosque shows the beauty of Islamic culture and architecture. It is located in a busy area, but inside it feels calm and quiet. The tall structure and detailed design make it special. I like this place because it is both beautiful and meaningful .


It is an important religious place in the country.

  Kandy Esela Perehara The Kandy Esela Perehara is unique culturel event in Sri Lanka.This is held every year in August. Many dancers and drumers participate in this. It is the dream of many dancers  to dance ina Esela Perahara. That's a dream of mine too........But I was able to make that dream come true. 🥹🫶 I participated in the Kandy Esela Perahara in last year.. I joined Peter Surasena sir's  wes dance group to play drums.   And that was the happiest day of my life......
