SIGIRIYA 🗻

 

Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock, is one of Sri Lanka’s most famous landmarks. It is a huge rock rising from the middle of green forests in the Central Province. People visit Sigiriya to see its amazing views, ancient ruins, and beautiful gardens.


The climb to the top of Sigiriya is exciting. On the way, visitors can see old frescoes painted on the rock and a giant lion’s paw carved in stone. From the top, the view of the surrounding countryside is breathtaking.

Sigiriya is not only beautiful but also very historical. It was once a royal palace and a fortress, showing theskills of ancient builders. Today, it is a popular tourist spot and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.



Visiting Sigiriya is like stepping back in time. It is a place where history, nature, and adventure come together, making it a must-see in Sri Lanka.😍🍃

  Kandy Esela Perehara The Kandy Esela Perehara is unique culturel event in Sri Lanka.This is held every year in August. Many dancers and drumers participate in this. It is the dream of many dancers  to dance ina Esela Perahara. That's a dream of mine too........But I was able to make that dream come true. 🥹🫶 I participated in the Kandy Esela Perahara in last year.. I joined Peter Surasena sir's  wes dance group to play drums.   And that was the happiest day of my life......
